We have seen the failures of Fiberglass Swimming Pool Resurfacing first hand and have spoken to many consumers (most are UltraGuard Clients Now) who have experienced the failure of their fiberglass pool resurfacing. It is important to remember the reason fiberglass swimming pool surfaces fail is because of the gel coat that is placed on top. Gel coats were never intended to be used in a swimming pool application and usually fail within 5-6 years.
